Berklee College of Music 位於Boston

首先 我係2004年1月- 2007年5月 係Berklee修讀 4年制Degree Major in Film Scoring
我當年19-22歲

我宜家就為大家簡單講解一下, 因為宜家都幾難入 我慢慢為大家講解

首先有2種可以讀 degree or diploma

degree要讀埋學術科(英文,history,math等)
diploma 就唔需要讀學術科

係berklee 我建議選擇修讀 Degree ( 4年制大學課程 )

入berklee 要經過 audition 可以參考

audition分 thoery test, ear training 同彈奏test
唔一定收

如果你真係好想讀berklee 一係你係hk成績好
如果唔係我會建議你黎左lee邊d community college讀1-2個sem
之後再transfer過去, 記住你係community college讀果d credit(學術科)
係可以transfer過berklee用
一定要有學器底同樂理底

Berklee 唔同其他大學, berklee本身係得一座樓
經過好多年慢慢 擴展出去

學費/住宿/食/交通/娛樂

學費(degree) 係以一個semester 計 3個半月 之後放2-3星期

1個semester學費約數 us12000 (hk96000) 宜家貴左要us14600 !!!
Tuition and Cost

之於住宿方面 學校係有dome
但係你都可以出去租屋住
但一到步要落腳又點 你可以一早book定d motel
去yahoo search

係機場bos 最方便係坐taxi 好近 us25-30左右
如果唔係可以坐subway 平日如果你想去下街 其實就坐subway就最方便





咁你會問一開始點搵, Berklee 有housing board 好多人會搵分租
所以唔需要擔心

如果唔想同其他人住又點
你要搵agent, 學校周圍好多租屋廣告 放心
我以前就住 charlesgate E 學校隔幾條街
行5-10mins就番到
studio us600-900不等
1bedroom us1000-1500不等
租屋要sign lease 1年
如果同人分租就唔一定
同埋有d唔包水電 (要自己打去開 )

我建議你住1個sem dome先出去租屋

銀行

學校迎新日 會有銀行stuff係度幫你開a/c 如果你需要
宜家仲係bank of aamerica
周圍都有atm機
銀行係SCHOOL隔離 其實周圍都係


食

係學校周圍都好多餐廳 日本野, 西餐, 中餐
但餐餐出街食就好貴 所以好多時都自己cook
超級市場係school隔離 行10mins左右 叫shaw 上yahoo searc shaw可以搵到
我當年有車牌所以渣車去遠d既地方 如new chinatown, old chinatown, 等
有88supermarket
不過詳細你到時問下d school stuff and 同學


交通

有bus, mtr
睇你想去邊 最好自己check清楚
如果你夠16想考車牌, Boston有driving school or 去chinatown問
考牌driving school會幫你安排


MUSIC STORE

school隔離有間 daddy's music, guitar center係Boston University 果面
你到時問下d frd





娛樂

movie, clubbing, baseball. nba 等
redsox 主場係school 行10mins
睇nba 就坐10mins subway






好啦同大家計一計1個sem要用幾$

學費
約數us12500 1個sem 4個月
租屋 us1200 1個月 1bed room (我當年同人分 我600 ) x4 us2400
水,電,電話,cable tv 1個月約US150 x4 us600
雜費,食 1個月 約300 x4 us1200
(機票/交通$未包)


我有1年連summer 都讀埋, 有2年summer都番hk
番hk4個間屋點算 你可以租比其他人住

順帶一提你可以work study 但只限係 school 做
我係school 有做work study 賺番d $$ ~
